  In case you haven’t heard, the third annual Long Beach Comic and Horror Convention is back!   A top notch list of artists, panelists, vendors and celebrities just to name a few perks of attending this year, not to mention it’s the weekend of Halloween! Another excuse to dress up all weekend!   Here’s some fun facts about LBCC, did you know that Nintendo launched it’s “World of Nintendo: tour at Long Beach Comic Con? The Inaugural show was held October 2-4th, 2009. Stan Lee and Long Beach City Council-member Robert Garcia open the show with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Seth Green and many of the creative staff from Robot Chicken entertain hundreds of fans in a rousing Q&A session Saturday afternoon.   So much has happened and grown since 2009, and now it’s bigger than ever. The Hero Initiative is the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. Hero creates a financial safety net for yesterdays’ creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work.
